Swiss German Flintlock pistol
My great great great grandfather handed down a Swiss German flintlock pistol to the current owner my father. The legacy behind the weapon is that my great great great grandfather had a duel with this man who wanted the gun to sell it. He accepted the challenge he took ten steps and to the right and bam shots fired. Who was left standing my great great great grandfather with gun in hand and out of breath. I ask the question how did it get to Tulsa? My dad said his dad didn’t tell him were and how it came here but he thinks it was cared here from immigration but not for sure. The next question I ask was when was the gun made? My dad said that there was no date when the gun came to the U.S it was just the gun. I would love to learn more and more about my past but this just one step forward.
