Charm Bracelet

Growing up, my grandmother on my father’s side didn’t have a lot of money. She endured hardships to get my dad, uncle, and aunt where they are now. Now she is living her best life, traveling the world and making sure we, my cousins and I, will have that same opportunity. I have nothing sentimental that has been passed through my family, but my grandmother ensured that we would start a new tradition that would stay in the family. When my cousins and I turn 16, we will receive a charm bracelet that will document our travels around the world. One my 16th birthday my grandmother gifted me a charm bracelet and a charm of the Sydney Opera House (because we visited Sydney, Australia), and my godmother gifted me a passport charm, inscribed with The World is Yours to Explore. I will continue this tradition with my children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
