I was born in Ukraine and I am very proud of this. From Ukraine, I went to England for one year, and then to America. Ukraine is very important to me and my family because I grew up there. I loved to go to an abandoned house, or when I went to my grandmothers in the village. I loved to go to the football field with my friends and I spent all my free time at my grandmother’s. There I found my friends, who I love very much and still communicate with. It is sad that because of war I was displaced. I really hope that soon I will be able to go home to my relatives. They helped shape me as a person by teaching me everything I know. It was here, the place I love so dearly that I learned absolutely everything, like how to ride a bike, roller skates, and cook with my grandmother. I remember that there was a tradition that as soon as the first snow fell during breaks everyone threw snowballs at each other. These memories made me who I am. I am grateful for America, but I want to go home. The place where I will raise my children. And the house that my grandpa made himself in Ukraine and now he passed it to my dad, and then he will give this house to me and I will pass it on to my future children.
