This is a handmade chair that was passed down from my mothers side of the family. Her ancestors were the creators of this chair as it goes back four generations, my generation being the fifth. This item has been with me my whole life as it its hundreds of years old. Not only is the chair hand made but the cushion that is on the chair was hand embroidered by my great, great grandmother. This chair was very important to my mothers family. Despite being an heirloom from my mothers dad, when my mothers parents got divorced the heirloom was given to my mothers mom because they agreed the chair would be in the best care with her mother. this heirloom is very special to my family and i will be the next generation to pass it down!
