I have a small cactus that I keep in a white ceramic pot shaped like a lama on the windowsill in my room. This cactus is important to me because a few years ago, my grandma and I planted it in a small green pot, and we put it near her window. Every time I would visit her house, I would check up on it and water it. A few weeks ago, I decided to take it home with me. I had to move it to a bigger pot because it got too big for the little one that it came with. The parts of the cactus that didn't get any sun in the old pot were white instead of the dark green that was on the rest of the plant. The reason I like cactuses is because they are low maintenance, and you can forget about them for a while without them dying. I have so many memories of family events at her house with the cactus, and I think that they are one of the greatest plants to have.
