Wallet

I have a black leather wallet that my friend Jeff gave me back in Haiti. I used it for a long time before I came to the U.S. It held important evidence of my identity, such as photos and ID cards. It also held necessities, such as cash. It reminds me of Jeff who is still back in Haiti and helps me connect my old life to my new one. This means a lot to me. I think it’s very important for people when we have something that a friend gave us. It helps keep us connected.
