Butter Chicken represents my identity because it connects to my Indian heritage. This dish is not just my favorite food it’s a symbol of where I come from and the culture I carry with me. I think that my mom makes the best Butter Chicken and every bite reminds me of India my home away from home. I was born in India and came to America when I was 2. Even though most of my family lives in India , this dish brings them closer to me. I visit India almost every 1-2 years to visit family. I think Butter Chicken is one of the most recognized Indian dishes from around the world and sharing it with others helps me express who I am. So the Butter Chicken I’m sharing with you today is not just a dish but it is me sharing my culture and a taste of home.
