French Toast

French toast has always been a part of my life. My mom would always wake up on Christmas day and my birthday every year for as long as I can remember to make me my favorite breakfast item. If my mother were to forget my French toast idk how I would feel because she basically made it a part of our little tradition. Just imagine waking up on your 2 favorite holidays smelling your favorite food listening to your favorite music and getting gifts I don't think anything could top that. Just the smell of the cinnamon searing and bacon cooking just does something to my heart that I can't explain. There is also so much you can do with French toast you could make french toast sticks, or you could top them with whatever you like and it doesnt always have to be the same that's what makes it even better. You could eat it with fruit, whipped cream, ice cream, just about anything sweet and it's still going to taste good. My mom's French toast is so good that I made her teach me how she makes it so that when I live alone or when she is not here and I have a taste for mommy's food I can make it myself and it will taste exactly the same or even better.  This would bring back memories that I have of us at the dinner tables or in the kitchen where she taught me what I know and it would just make me smile when I might need it. One year I want to challenge her to a cook off and see who makes the better french toast because we are both competitive people who also like to eat so that would be good mother and son bonding time and that would also add to our memories that we still have to make.
