Bracelet

My gold bracelet was given to me when I was 3 years old, when I was baptized; my mom bought a small gold bracelet for me as a present. To this day, it still fits me perfectly because I have such a small wrist; I continue to wear it everyday. This bracelet means so much to me because it was given to me by my mom at a very young age, and it reminds me of her. I always have it on me that it has come to the point that it identifies me when I don’t have it on it feels like something is missing and I feel naked. One time, I took it off and misplaced it; I never bothered to look for it until one day my mom told me to go through my jewelry and choose the pieces I didn’t wear anymore. As I was looking through my jewelry, I became curious as to where the bracelet was. Eventually, my mom told me she had it, when she took it out of her jewelry box, I was so relieved. After getting it back I made sure to put it in a special place that I will never forget so I can find it when I want to wear it. Although I don’t wear it as much as I used to, it continues mean a lot to me because it makes me feel connected to my mom.
