America is... an opportunity. My parents are from Mexico, more specifically Michoacán. My parents like my aunts and uncles came to America for a better life and opportunity for me, my siblings, and all of my other cousins in America. Me and my family love to dance. Although we may not be in Mexico we still dance and like to celebrate by dancing, playing music and eating good food. The reason we love to dance is because it reflects our Mexican history and it's also part of our culture. Many Mexicans like me like to dress as vaqueros, we use boot and wear a hat. Vaqueros and cowboys are not the same thing although can be similar. Our boots and hats are decorated. Like the image my boots have sun flowers, have a detailed stitching in the front in white and are brown. There are many different types of boots you can get. Also in the image you can kinda of see my hat in the background that I also wear. Wearing boots and a hat makes me feel like I'm representing where my family is from although I am in America.
