I was baptized when I was about 4 years old, either in Mexico City or in Zitácuaro. It was a special day for my family, and my tío and tía gave me a chain to remember the occasion. Even though I was really young, the chain still means a lot to me because it reminds me of my family and my baptism. It’s something I’ve kept for years and it brings back memories of my childhood and my roots.
