When my Uncle was 15 in 1951 he rowed from Malaysia all the way to Australia and managed to bring all of his family, and I mean everyone. By the time he was 17 he was married and working 3 jobs to slowing bring over everyone in Malaysia to Australia. He now works as a researcher/ doctor for cancer and I believe he has found a cure of some sort. Since my mom's side of the family has always had heart and cancer problems it made sense for him to research that for an extremely long time. As a gift, he sent my mom a monitor to check her blood pressure to keep her health in check.
