Black Cross

Group:

I have a black cross necklace that my dad gave me before he left for America. I was only a year old. When I saw a stranger I would start to follow them around and call them dad because I didn’t remember what my dad looked like. I just knew I loved my dad a lot.
One day at school I went on the swing. I fell on my head so my mom took me home. She told me we were moving to Minnesota. I was so excited to see my dad that I couldn’t go to sleep. The next morning my family went to the airport to go to Minnesota, but first we went to DC. We had a cousin in DC named Fecado. He took us to parks and to a restaurant. Then he showed us the White House. we weren’t supposed to leave for Minnesota until 2:00 am so we went to sleep and then my mom woke up and it was 4:30. we missed the flight! she had to redo everything. then my mom picked us up and we said bye to and we got on the plane. we went to a lot of places and finally we got to Minnesota. when we got out of the plane, my dad was waiting for us. I was so happy because I felt like a new life was starting.
