The object in the photo is a Bible from Germany. It was passed down from my Grandmas Grandma. She received this bible from a catechism from the Catholic church in 1912. A catechism is having faith in the catholic religion, seven sacraments and their significance in the life of the Church, to live a life in accordance with Christ's teachings and praying and praying for other people.
Few years later, my Grandmas Grandma moved to the US for better living for their family and moved to Missouri for job options, and brought the bible and stayed in their religions, and my family is still religious.
