My family has always been religious, which is why bibles are very important in my household. Both my parents immigrated to the United States, my father left the only place he has called home. He brought very little and only the essentials, one of those items was a bible. He grew up knowing faith and this bible was a way for him to learn more about his religion and remember the family he left behind. This bible isn’t the one he brought from Honduras but nevertheless it is still important in my family because of its significance.
