Bent bird feeder
This story starts at our family cabin that my parents and grandparents built. My grandma is there for most of the summer and tends to the bird feeders and her garden. It's an old cabin with the walls made with logs and its decor frozen in time with earthy tones like browns and greens covering the indoors and a tan popcorn ceiling everywhere on the main floor, and a cold basement with a fridge, storage, and an extra bed and bathroom. There are more buildings around the property like a bunkhouse in the surrounding woods and a big garage that houses atv’s, tractor and other junk . It's around a lake with a dock and a storage shed. a bird feeder is on the porch with a long stairwell connecting the porch to the hill. And with it being around for so long it has been home to many memories and stories like how the bird feeder got bent. It was morning to midday when we heard the outside stairs creaking. We all knew that no one went outside and the dog was going crazy, then we saw a bear come onto the patio and the dog was losing its mind while we were wondering what to do. While we were panicking the bear tried to grab some food from one of the many bird feeders, bending the rod that it was attached to pushing it away from itself. And around then our uncle was yelling at it that's when the bear realized that there was no food and it was not wanted so it went back to the woods never to be seen again.
