When I first came to United States, I was living in Kentucky.  I don't have any friends because I don't know any English. I went to a elementary school in Kentucky.  I meet my first friend in another country. Her name is Abby, she was sitting right next to me. I was so panic and scared in the class because I didn't know what the teacher is talking about. She was ardent and helped me a lot in the class. I talked to her everyday and slowly I know my English. Everyday I ride the school bus I talk about things in my home country. She was very curious about my country and asking me many questions about it. During the winter break, she went to Canada and brought me a little gift which was a little key ring that is a bear. I was so happy and excited when she gave the gift to me. This was the first gift I got when I moved to a new country. A year later,  I moved to New York. I didn't have her phone number or email. This was a little bit of pity about it because she was my first friend when I moved  to United States. But, I saved her gift till now, I missed her very much and she is a really nice friend.
