My Bangles

My object is gold bangles. The bangles are from Bangladesh. The bangles are used for parties and for everyday use. My mom uses them the most. These bangles are made of 22k gold (20 grams worth). Some other information I know is that the bangles have been passed to my mom by my great grandmother.  I chose this object because it is important to my family. It is important to my family because it has been passed down from generation from generation. Many women in Bangladesh wear jewelry like this bracelet. There bangles represent good luck to the women that wear them.   I wish I could ask my ancestors who passed these bangles down first. I’d love to know just how many times these bangles have been passed from person to person.
