Baby Quilt
My grandmother and her friends made me this quilt when I was a baby. My grandmother loves crafts. She knits all the time. She and her friends decided to have a quilting group and make a different quilt for every grandchild born. They live in Pennsylvania in the town where my mom grew up. When someone is going to have a new grandchild, they meet every week to work on the quilt. My brothers and my cousins have ones, too. My grandmother brought the quilts to New York City, where we lived, after we were born. When we moved to Rye in 2014, we brought our quilts with us. We are too big for them now, so we framed them as decorations in our house. My quilt reminds me of my relatives.
