The Aquamarine

     The aquamarine came from Switzerland. It is very fragile and precious because it is made of gold, diamonds and a stone called aquamarine.The aquamarine was a gift to Elizabeth (my grandma) for the birth of Anne*. It was a gift because Elizabeth had three boys and when she FINALLY had a girl her husband Yves** was so happy that he made the aquamarine and gave it to her.
      When I first saw the aquamarine it made me think of coal mines because it is NOT easy to find diamonds, or diamond stores. But I also worry about where to keep it if I get it when I grow up.
