This bracelet was bought in Mexico and people in there call it a Turkish eye. It is used in European countries like Turkey and Greece, but in Mexico it is used to avoid bad energy. This object is important to me because it is a gift from my best friend. She gave it to me two weeks ago, but I appreciate it very much and I use it every day. When we were in Mexico something happened that affected us both and that is why she gave me this bracelet.  Since coming to the U.S. we supported each other a lot and have become better friends. This friend represents a lot to me since she is a childhood friend and we have been together for a long time.
