Antique Clock
In 1893, when my paternal great-grandfather migrated to New York from Corleone, Sicily, he brought a clock with him. This clock had been in his family for many, many years, and, although he could only bring a limited amount of items, he thought it was of the utmost importance to bring this clock to the States and continue this legacy. He then gave it to his son, my grandfather, who then gave it to my father, with whom it resides with now. It is displayed in our living room, always reminding us of our great-grandfather, who is the reason we live here in the US.
