Paratroopers training in a new article

This is a photo of a training exercises my great uncle did when he was in the army as a paratrooper during the Vietnam war. He is Cajun meaning that he is from Louisiana but has French blood flowing within him. This uncle is on my dad side of the family and I choose this object to represent us because of the fighting and helpful nature of me and my family. I have had family members in the military fight for The United States and help those in need while tending to their own families and communities which inspires me to do the same or at least have a positive impact on the people around me. While I don't think I want to enlist in the military I do want to help everyone around me and be like the generations before me. This photo represents my pride in who I am and where I came from as well as the person that I want to be when I grow up.
