Ancestor painting
In this painting, it is my step-ancestor named Thomas. He sailed on a boat from Liverpool to Philadelphia and New Orleans. He traveled with his wife, his three daughters, and his son. The painting was painted halfway through the trip. Unfortunately, when he got to New Orleans, his three daughters died from yellow fever unexpectedly. His son, however lived many, many, many years later. Thomas's wife and son decided to move to Philadelphia and let him in on it. Many decades past and they decided to move around the country a little bit unitl they ended up in Oklahoma and had my step-dad's great, great, great grandpa.
