This jersey is important to me because the player who's on it was the first home run I ever saw when I moved from India to New York. My grandpa gifted me this signed jersey when I first started playing and watching baseball. This jersey also represents me leaving India since this was one of the few things I was interested in doing when I moved to America. This also represents my family's bond since we all love the yankees and always go for games with each other. Me and my grandpa have been to a few games together and we enjoy watching our team win. This bond is not only through my grandpa but also my parents. Me and my parents go to many games together and it is one of the only sports events that we attended. This jersey also represents my family's favorite player and it is very special to us because we also saw him hit his record tying 61st homerun in his 2022 season. My family and I will remember that moment forever and hope for many more great experiences. This jersey represents my bond with my family, us moving to America and my many memories in Yankee stadium.
