My object is a Rose Quartz necklace.It was made in the deepest part of South America. I wear this necklace because it was a gift from my mother and it wasn’t an ordinary necklace. My mom brought  that necklace at a street fair where they sell all kinds of stones. My mom let me pick out a necklace. I picked the Rose Quartz because it meant love and as Puerto Ricans we have strong beliefs. I believe that Rose Quartz will make me feel loved and bring me love. I also picked it out because my family loved this kind of stone. My family always loved different kinds of artifacts that have meaning, value, and beauty. The Rose Quartz connects me to my culture because my family is ver big on love and Rose Quartz means love. I wear this necklace because it was a gift from my mother and it wasn’t an ordinary necklace.
