A cross
When I was about 13yrs old when we were just in the middle of the COVID pandemic I was really unhealthy with my eating habits, and very lazy with working out and not playing any sports. I Was super unmotivated with doing anything with my life until it got to a point in my life where I was unhappy with myself for letting myself down so I asked my Hispanic Grandfather who very much loves going to the gym if I could go to gym with him someday and if he could help me get in shape he said sure. Well I woke up very early in the morning motivated to make a change in myself welp once I stepped on the treadmill on the first few steps i slipped and busted my ass and I could barely run for a long period without dying for water or being out of breath. my grandfather for my birthday gave me a cross for my brother and I seeked guidance and support with my goal with becoming more healthy. I started wearing my cross daily and even when I went to the gym. I believed this necklace had sentimental value where I believe god or Christ was with me and supporting me even on the days that I did not want to do the hard work or step into the gym to get my work done I believe this sentimental item helped support me through rough and tough times and taught me about struggles and striving to get over your Challenges.
