I love my headgear for wrestling once I put it on and everything goes quiet and I lock in. It is yellow and old and fits comfy and helps me stay grounded and focused. It all started when I first got the head gear in 6th grade, it been a part of my family’s history, to wrestle. I learned about determination from my Dad’s Dad, no matter the losses, no matter how I place its a fun sport that I look forward to doing every season. It helps me put my mind and anger towards whoever I am going against.  It reminds me how strong I am and that I need to get better. I have so much love for the sport and the coaches and I enjoy the connection with my teammates; in wrestling you don’t just get teammates, you get brothers that do the same thing that you do every day. I will always love wrestling it brings happiness and I hope to have my kids continue on and win state and be the best they can.
