My great great grandfather moved to America sometime after the Irish Potato Famine. Him and his wife were fortunate enough to have the money to move to America and get a decent house in Rhode Island. My great grandfather was in World War 2 and these were his binoculars. He was a forward scout. A forward scout scouts ahead to map the battlefield and land marks, as well as enemy locations.
