Every spring my family cousins and grandpa all go to Lanesboro, MN. We stayed in a cabin with a big field, pickle ball court and a sand volleyball court. Ever since I can remember we would play baseball in the big field, kids vs adults. The bat we used was a shortish wood bat. It was my dads when he was a kid. It's old but we still use it because it is tradition. In the recent years we have brought different bats to use but nothing's quite the same as the wooden bat. That week is my favorite of the year and the bat has been part of the tradition for over 15 years.
