A few years ago, I started getting bored of most of my stuff. So I looked around to see if I could find anything, and I found my wii, just sitting there, on the shelf, collecting dust. I then decided to boot it up, and played Mario galaxy 2. The main reason I played it is because I remember having so much trouble with one specific star when I was a lot younger, so I wanted to try again. It was a boss rush of the Mario Galaxy 1 bosses, which is easy by itself, but the second star there adds a modifier: an extremely short time limit.I had been fractions of a second off multiple times. It infuriated me as a 9 year old. But I was now 12. I had the eye of an eagle. I had the reflexes of a cat. And I was going to try my best. And I did it. I think it was my first try. It wasn’t even hard. My last goal was the semi-final part of the game: Green stars. You have to go back through every area and find hidden stars. It was pretty easy, but it was still really fun.That’s just my experience with Mario Galaxy 2. I had many more games to play, such as mario party 8, DK country returns, mario kart wii, and much more. No matter how long I forget about the Wii, I will always come back for more.
