White Gold Necklace

My object is a necklace given to me by my grandma. It is an Alhambra necklace with 10 clovers strung around the chain. The necklace is made of white gold and when the light is on it it shines with all the colors of the rainbow. It is one of the most beautiful pieces of jewelry that I own.  The necklace was given to me by my grandma when she returned from a trip, so it’s valuable to me because it reminds me of her. My grandma got my sister and I the same necklace and she gave my mom matching earrings. The necklace reminds me of the unity of my family. To me it’s very valuable because when I grow up and my family is gone, I will still have a memory of them. A lot of people sell the same necklaces (It is valuable because it has white gold and every year it goes up by $1000!) but I going to keep mine because it is very valuable to me. This necklace represents my life because it is just as valuable as my family. Also my family would say that I’m just as valuable as the necklace. I would never want to forget them because they mean so much to me just like this necklace.
I learned that I am similar to Rachel because we both have an object that was given to us by our grandparents was passed down to us.
