Wedding Ring

In Attire
Partner:

My object is a ring. My grandfather gave it to my mother many years ago.  She cherishes the ring. It helps her to remember him and all the memories they shared together. He has passed away and it means more to her now than ever.
It is a gold ring with his name engraved on the inside and out. It is on a necklace with a gold cross. My mother wears it all day to remember what he was like and to keep his memory alive. It is her dearest object and I hope one day she will pass it down to me.
It relates to my culture in that the cross represents God. My family is Catholic and God is an important figure in our home. The ring helps us to keep hope, faith and love alive. My grandfather will never be forgotten.
