Colombia is a country in South America and it is widely known for its culture and food. Many aspects of the Colombian culture are similar to the early culture of Spain in the 16th century. One of my favorite traditional foods of Colombia is "Bandeja Paisa", which was originally considered low-status food since this would be the meals of farmers in the Antioquian region. Bandeja Paisa is typically served with white rice, avocado, fried eggs, chorizo, and lime addition to the food. The artwork in Colombia is very colorful and very similar to Spanish art.
