There was only one object that. Carried any significance to my mom when she first arrived here. That was a visa. This is an example of a visa. My mom was allowed to come in to the U.S with this visa and become a citizen. This helped lessen her struggle to get in the U.S and start a better life. When my mom got her visa she wasn't the only one to come as later she encouraged the rest of her family. This eventually lead to my grandmother coming to the U.S as well. She didn't have much when she first came here but she strived for a better life and the visa helped her do it.
