• My Mom was 14 at the time still in high school but she didn't feel safe in the environment she was living in. As a result she decided to go to the U.S for opportunities of an easier experience and to see many new thing's. Therefore she had to say goodbye to her family and and to be careful due to many danger's for example, people would be killed through the long trip by narcos as well as either being raped if you were a woman or tortured no matter who you were. However my mom made it safely throught her walk. My eventually met my Dad and I was born. My mom was relieved because my life would be much better than her's, as well as having many opportunities on becoming a great person and being successful. This object is important because she would be caring a picture of the Virgen De Guadalupe in order to ask for guidance and help when she needed it especially when she had to cross the deserted knowing the danger.
