Surely, the most important things that immigrants bring with them are their memories. So, one of the things that I brought is a national Uzbek costume which consists of a dress, pants and a little cap. I wear it for Uzbek holidays that we spend together with relatives and friends in New York.
It is important to me because it makes me remember my country. It is a way to keep our traditions alive while I am far from my homeland.
