Unexpected sister

This is a picture of my sister and me. It’s kind of weird because we are not biologically related, but she is just as important to me as my parents and other siblings. Let me tell you how she became my sister. A couple years ago, a preacher association was created in my city. My father and her father led it for a couple years. During that time our parents became very close but we became much closer after her father’s death two years ago. Since then she has become part of my family: my father became her father and my mother became her mother. She has given me confidence and support through rough times.

She comes to visit every December from the Dominican Republic, and we spend a lot of time together, she is 27 years old and  a Dentist. She graduated few years ago and is about to get her own dental clinic. She is christian and while she is here we share a lot of things about the bible and I learn a lot. She also loves singing, I play the piano while she sings and we make a mini concert… I love spending time with her and learning from her.
