This pottery figurine dressed in traditional Kosovar attire. The figurines are singing. The figurine arrived in the United States in the late 1970's, highlighting traditional Kosovar culture. The immigrant fled the communism and oppression in former Yugoslavia and arrived to America with barely anything and a few figurines to reconnect with their culture.
