The toquilla straw hat, is a symbol of identity and tradition on the Ecuadorian coast. Handmade from toquilla palm fibers, its creation is an art passed down through generations, especially in provinces like Manabí, where it has become a regional emblem.  Beyond its cultural significance, the toquilla straw hat is also a symbol of elegance and freshness. This hat also embodies identity each time someone wears it. This reflects the identity in my family because my family because they are from Ecuadorian coast.
