 This is My history
The  Trapiche
The trapiche is a machine often used in Ecuador to extract juice from the sugar cane. It is a machine made from steel, and the juice from the sugar cane can be used in other things, like sugar cane juice, honey, alcohol, and a heavy block of sugar.
This object comes from my grandfather who gave it to my dad in Ecuador many years ago to continue following the same tradition of grinding sugar cane for juice.

So my dad has been doing this work since his childhood and that's why he knows a lot about this tradition.
Actually, my dad is the owner of this object and he continues practicing this tradition. My dad taught us about this tradition because this tradition comes from my ancestors, and that's why this tradition connects directly with me - I identify as a practitioner of this tradition, so it is important for me because it is a reminder of my life that I lived  before in my country and is a good experience that I would like to share to my new generation.
