This object was given to my dad by my grandmother. This chain symbolizes my religion because it's one of God’s saints, Saint Lazarus. Saint Lazarus is the saint that is affiliated with good health and healing. The chain also has my dad’s birthstone attached to it. The chain not only symbolizes something to my dad, but it also expresses my religion, Catholicism. My father wears this chain on special occasions such as his birthday and on holidays. The chain is sentimental to me because it was passed down by grandmother; represents a part of my father; and symbolizes my religion.
