The flag of my culture is something that connects every thing about my culture together like a bow on a present keeping everything together and connected.The mexican flag has three colors that represent the blood of the soldiers and white is purity and the green is victory which is something that makes it meaningful The flag is something that used to not really matter to me and I didn’t get why my mom put out the flag around the house and showed it off.That was until She told me that our flag is something to be proud of because it show where you came from and shows how you were raised.The flag represents the people and the traditions that come with the people and it can also show the food,clothing  That’s why it matters to me without saying much you could know a part of me and who I am. For example a tradition that we have to celebrate our flag is on February 24 called (Día de la Bandera) which is a big national holiday to show such a high honor to our flag and it’s meaning,history of mexico .The millions of people celebrate is along with the military and government, and people throwing parades for the very flag of their ethnicity which shows meaning to our flag and how it is today.
