The Leg Brace
The way how my family history on my mom's side started would be in Mexico. When my mom was very young, she lived in Baja Mexico. She had a good life there because my grandpa had a great job being a deep sea diver and a fisherman. He used to go and get lobster, crab, clams, and lots of other sea food. The pay was great and they all enjoyed their lives in Mexico. However my grandpa got in a very bad injury having to do with his ATV. He was riding around in the desert and somehow the ATV flipped over injured his head and his leg very badly. He had to stay in the hospital for about a month or two after the accident. Due to these injuries, he was not accepted back to the ship and decided to leave to America. My grandpa became a janitor at St.John's Chrysostom Middle School and my mom had to learn English at that middle school. By the time she went to high school, she met my dad. They dated since her freshman year and the rest is history. If my grandpa wouldn't have gotten into that accident, maybe I wouldn't be here today. This brace would be important because even though he went through so much pain, I would not be here if it weren't for that.
