The item you see before you is a monkey blanket.The blanket also came with a monkey teddy bear. The blanket is full of pirate monkeys on a treasure hunt for a chest full of bananas, which was passed down to me by my great grandmother who was originally from Norfolk. She gave it to me when I was three years old which was unfortunately right before she passed. She was the sweetest person but if I was in the wrong she would tell me what I did wrong. I remember when I was younger I used to put the monkey teddy bear on my back and run around the house.When I would go to sleep with my blanket,I would feel so safe. As I got older I lost the need to use it, so now it is just in a corner of my room. When I look at it I feel instant happiness. This was the last thing she gave me and it is the best gift ever received. If I have children I will tell them about her and the blanket,I would like to pass It down to my children.
