The Land

Relationship: Im/migrant

Something significant to my family is our land in Mexico we have a lot of land and it has been passed down from generation to generation so it means a lot to my family. We have many things on the family plot like a farm, house, and much more. Many people might think land is nothing but it is everything in my family and to at least get a piece of land is a big deal. The house is just amazing and we have a beautiful back yard with animals running around. The land means much more to my family because of not only the things that was there before but by the way our family made it special. We had things that not many people had in a lonely town and some of the reasons why we had it were because of my family. You have to drive at least two hours for the closest food store to buy meats but here we would cut and sell you the meat as we spoke about it. That is why our land means so much to the family.
