The Holy Bible
My name is Julio and I am a Dominican kid who lives in New York. My mom is called Leonidas Diaz and my dad is Julio Leon, which is the same as me. I also have a sister who is called Leomarys and she is 9 years old. Our family is very, very, Catholic, especially my grandmother. Our special object is a bible that was given to my dad by the father (priest) that baptized me. He gave it to me when I came to New York because he wanted me to remember him because he stayed at Dominican Republic. It is also important to me because it was the bible I used when I did my first communion and also my confirmation. I will always keep it safe and secure. My plan is to give it to my first child one day in the future. Sometimes when he comes to visit, we go to church together. We also play guitar in the mass chorus when he comes. He was the one who taught me how to play guitar. I have been playing for 4 years now. That bible is very important to us two because it reminds us that we are family even though we are far away from each other.
