I immigrated to New York City from China in November 2010. I brought a Buddha Bracelet with me because that reminds me of my country and my mother. That is very important for me. It was made by many different color beads. Before I left my country my mother gave me it. She said: the Buddha bracelet is from the temple. It can bless you, and everything will be better. The red bead deputy means good luck, the green bead deputy means health, the yellow bead deputy means money, and the black bead means family. Also that is a mother’s love.
