My mom and dad came to the u.s in the 1990's or earlier. This is the Albanian saying from the book and my dad placed it on the wall in the kitchen and it means a lot to my family because when we go to Macedonia every year one of my dad's side of the family gave it to us to bring back to New York for good luck and every Albanian holiday we give each other gifts and money. This object is related to my identity as well because it shows who i am as a Albanian and an american. Every summer we go back to visit my family members and we always have a good time on our holiday and if we loose the object then we would feel bad because it was from our family.
