Gadao-Adossa. My object is a traditional object. This object is made from cotton fabrics (Tem loincloth) the object looks like a garment. It is used in the traditional festival and often even in the wedding of tem Kotokoli. The tradition comes from Togo in my village. The object and tradition is connected to my grandparents and celebrations of special occasions. This tradition is celebrated at the end of each year and the tradition is called Adossa. The tradition is linked to the culture of my country because the tradition represents where my grandparents come from. Tradition is important to me because there are many acquaintances in the family and it also reminds us of tradition. And I remember well in my childhood my mother made me wear it to take a souvenir photo. I have kept this photo until now. When I look at this photo, I feel like a queen and I really smile madly. I miss tradition a lot like my family because this tradition brings me closer to my family.
